I didn't find a way to add shield spikes to a light or heavy shield (PHB Table 7-6 Armor and Shields, description on page 125), nor did I find a weapon selection to mimic the weapon table entries for Shield, light; Spiked shield, light; Shield, heavy, and Spiked Shield, heavy (PB Table 7-5 Weapons).
If the functionality is already implemented (as of version 1.2a), and I just missed something obvious, please let me know.
Presuming I didn't miss something obvious, I managed to mimic the functionality and get it listed on the Standard Character Sheet by creating a weapon entry in the editor and not equipping it (I didn't bother to create all four entries, just the one the character needed), but that's a work around at best... I'm guessing amor spikes for the Spiked armor entry on the Weapon table will have the same challenge (PHB Table 7-6 Armor and Shields, description on page 124).
Not sure what to recommend for implementation, but one place that seemed somewhat intuitive is Special Ability within the Custom Amor / Shields window. I suppose a check box (grayed out when invalid) on both the custom and standard armor windows would work too. Another option might be to create spiked entries for the armor selection list, but that strikes me as less elegant.
Thanks
