Adding magic to shield portion of a Klar

Hi folks,

I have been using Hero Labs for years now and never needed to post before but I cannot see a way to do this natively. Am I just missing it? I would expect when I want to enchant the shield portion I would have to add a Klar in the custom armor area but there is no Klar in the armor list. I also do not see a way to say an enchantment bonus on the weapon version is for the armor part of the Klar.

If there is a way please feel free to direct me! Otherwise I will review the documentation on bootstrapping and whatnot to see what I can create.

IIRC you can find a Klar under the weapons tab. Once you buy it, in order to adjust it's magical properties on the shield side of things, use the Edit button on it's armor listing since it shows up on both. I'm pretty sure that's how I did it.

The Klar is still isn't completely updated to the UE entry, but it mostly works. You just have to ignore the error when having it equipped as both a shield and a weapon. And bashing doesn't effect it right.
 
Aha! This is what I was missing. I see now that when I edit the Klar in my Armor list after adding it in my Weapon list I can add the magical enhancements.

I don't bash with it but in looking for this answer before posting my question I did read that the December update was supposed to have resolved the bashing problems. Again I have not had any reason to test that though.

After just looking in to it (I hadn't seen those release notes for the December update) Bashing still does not apply the proper increase....or any increase for that matter. I guess I'll be submitting another bug report.

Just got an update from the bug report. The Klar has not been updated, but they're working on it. In the meantime I would suggest using the Adjustments tab to increase it's damage manually when you put Bashing on it.
