    M&M 3rd ed. Changing Individual Skill Costs

    The GM of a PbP game that I'm in has introduced a new house rule: All skills are 3 ranks per point, except for Combat skills, which stay 2 ranks per point. Can I create new combats skills with a different cost or exempt the core skills from the house rule change? Any help would be appreciated.

    an easy way to distinguish between system portfolios

    I'm not sure where to put this. I guess this is a feature request. I've got M&M 2e. and 3e. for HeroLab and wish there was someway to tell 2e portfolios from 3e (other than naming them, I mean). Perhaps color coded test tubes?
