    Remove Max Dex Bonus from Armor

    My DM told me last night that he doesn't count the max dex bonus against his characters when calculating AC. Is there a way to remove the max dex bonus so my Half-Orc Barbarian gets his full +5 dex bonus when wearing Chain Mail? If not, I can just write a note of some type to remind myself...
