Pathfinder Bug Reports, Version 5.0

Paladins with the Warrior of Holy Light archetype (APG) get the ability to cure ability damage with their Power of Faith ability at level 8. However, HL states that the ability restores 1d6 points, when it only restores 1d4 as lesser restoration.

Several Bardic Performance abilities set their abValue variables with "=" instead of "+=" which makes it difficult to modify these values cleanly for homebrew or 3.5 converted entries.

Oracle Curse - Haunted, Telekinesis

Did a quick search and didn't see this one:

Oracle's with the Haunted curse gets Telekinesis as a known spell at level 5, should be level 10.

Few bugs on 5.0

- After lvl2, the DEX bonus seems be used instead of WIS bonus for the ranged attack of the Zen Archer (Monk Archetype).

- The Furious Focus feat doesn't work when Power Attack is checked in In Play Tab.

- I think the Overhand Chop feat is bugged for the Two Hand Fighter after lvl 3 : no damage bonus.

If you create a wizard you can select Hungry Pit (APG) as both a 5th and 6th level spell when adding spells to your spell book. It should be 5th level only (unless there's some ruling I'm not aware of).

This is less of a bug and more just missing functionality, but the Shielded Fighter archetype's "Active Defense" ability is not being calculated. That ability says that the fighter gains a bonus to AC when fighting defensively, using Combat Expertise, or using Total Defense. However, the AC bonus does not appear when I choose Fight Defensively or Total Defense from the Conditions tab.

Thanks!

I was making a character that has greater fortification on his armor. Greater Fortification according to the Book, is supposed to be 75% miss chance on Critical attacks and Sneak attacks. Hero-labs is stating that you are immune to crits and sneak attacks. For now it is only a small error, but it would be great to have it changed.

@ CloudX9: Not exacty miss chance as the regular attack is still in effect, but that may have been what you meant.

Fortification: This suit of armor or shield produces a magical force that protects vital areas of the wearer more effectively. When a critical hit or sneak attack is scored on the wearer, there is a chance that the critical hit or sneak attack is negated and damage is instead rolled normally.

When creating a human sorcerer and selecting the optional racial ability of an extra spell it works fine until level 5. Nothing new is created in the in-play area. There seems to be a limit of 4 for this ability in the in-play area. This does not allow you to select a new spell and to make things worse all of the previous spell levels chosen are moved down one notch to the previous spell selected.

@ Leonal: Alright I re-looked at the book, your right the attack still goes through but damage is normal. But hero-labs still has in the description for Greater Fortification that you are immune to the crit or sneak damage.

The Expanded Repertoire ability of the Magician alternate class for Bards does not allow for higher spell levels gained from prestige class levels.

For example: Bard (Magician) 9/Harrower 3 takes his next level in Bard, getting another pick for Expanded Repertoire. He should be able to choose 0 thru 5th level spells, however, he can only pick from 0 thru 4th (the spell levels earned directly by his bard levels).

I've added this to my to-do list, thanks for the report.

Charda with Blacktongue Charda template:
lacking spell-like abilities: 1/day - acid arrow, control water, deeper darkness, obscuring mist, transmute rock to mud

Thanks for the report, I've added this to my to-do list.

This afternoon we were playing a Society scenario. I was running my 1st level Witch. She went to cast Ray of Enfeeblement. In HL it has the duration as 1 minute/level. However, printing 4 of the Core has the spell listed as 1 round/level.

Fixed in the next update, thanks for the report.

The DC on the Sandman Bard Class is not figuring correctly all my other abilities are DC 17 and it is DC 13

Edit for his steal spell ability

Sorry, I don't see which specific ability on the Sandman you're talking about, and you didn't provide me enough information on why it would be DC 17.

Levels? Relevant ability scores? Relevant feats/other abilities?

The more information you can give me about the problem you've encountered, and the circumstances you're seeing it under, the easier it is for me to duplicate the problem and figure out what's going wrong.

Advanced Players Guide

Wolf Shaman / Druid Totem Transformation. You can only apply the effects for a certain time limit a day. I just made myself a Wolf Shaman and found that when I choose which Totem Transformation. It gives me a Bite Attack that shows up permanently on the character sheet. Rather than an In-Play Adjustment.

Hero Lab will not complain when no selections are made for the totem transformation ability. This allows you to leave the list blank while you are not transformed, and choose the ability you wish when you do transform.

Inaccuracy in Stealthy feat.

The Summary Text says, "You get a +2 bonus on all Hide checks and Move Silently" while the description text says, "You are good at avoiding unwanted attention and slipping out of bonds.

{b}Benefit{/b}: You get a +2 bonus on all Escape Artist and Stealth skill checks. If you have 10 or more ranks in one of these skills, the bonus increases to +4 for that skill."

I found this when I printed my character and found the comment about Hide and Move Silently on the sheet. So, I loaded the editor and did a "New (Copy)" on the Feat tab. That way I could see where the erroneous text was.

I apologize, but leftover SRD text is not a high enough priority that I will be able to deal with it in the near future. There are just too many other things I have to work on.

Problem with Fighter (Archer archtype)

Weapon Master (20th level ability) should increase the critical multiplier of chosen weapon (longbow in my case) to x4, but it stays x3.

Fixed in the next update, thanks for the report.
