Pathfinder Bug Reports - Versions 4.20 and 4.22

Apologies if this has been mentioned before, but a stack of multiple Valuables is shown as being worth the Valuable's gold value X [quantity squared]. For example, two 100gp gems in a stack causes the stack to be valued at 400gp; three such gems makes the stack value 900gp, four gems makes it 1600gp, and so on.

I can confirm this. Attached a screenshot of "Carnelian" Custom Valuable with a value of 60gp.

If you add as single items, they work just fine, but then there are ten entries. If you enter the gold value during creation it still creates them all as blank items with no gold value.

If you enter them as a stack, it's a stack of blank stacks. Add 3, and it's actually 3x3 stacks. Enter the value as 1gp, and value becomes 9gp. Or in the case of the 2 stack of Carnelians, 60gp x 2 x 2

Discovered a missing spell adjustment tonight.

Lead Blades does not show up in the Adjust tab as a viable Spell Adjustment. This may be an error only showing up with my character because of being a multi-class Ranger 4/Wizard 2. YMMV.

Races with natural ability to cast as any caster with added spells from other caster list looses those extra spell lists when levels of the same racial caster type are stacked with natural ability.

Example - Lamia Matriarch has racial casting as Sorcerer 6, + Cleric spells. When Sorcerer levels are added to the race, it's dropping the Cleric options when the tabs get replaced.

Under the "Racial Spells" it works correctly, but after you add those Sorcerer levels it seems to ignore the "+ Cleric spells" part of the equation after it replaces the "Racial Spells" tab with the "Sorcerer" tab.

I've made additional custom races with the editor with different combinations to test this theory - happens each time.

I found the same problem. Does anybody have a suggested work around until bug is fixed. Xanesha isn't done tormenting the heroes yet.

As I am the only community member helping to do the Spell Adjustments its not super fast. I just sent Monday the final set of adjustments to Mathias and Lead Blades is in their. So they should be included with the next release.

Just a small reminder as the tag on my profile can be confusing. I don't work for or get paid by Lone Wolf for doing the spell adjustments. I was doing it out of my own free time when Mathias asked for help in THIS thread.

P.S. - I don't currently have time to do the Sub-Domain buffs from the APG so if anyone else has time feel free. Otherwise will be at least a month.

You can do what I did... leave some blank spell slots and simply note that she has the listed spells memorized.

Unsatisfying, perhaps, but not terrible.

Built a 1st level Inquisitor with a 15 Wisdom and the 'Pesh Addict' trait, and took a rank in Sense Motive skill. It looks to me like the total should be +8 for this skill (+2 Wisdom, +1 Rank, +3 Class Skill, +1 Pesh Addict, +1 Stern Gaze) but for some reason HL is returning only a +7.

  • Removing 'Pesh Addict' lowers it by one.
  • Ability bonuses, Ranks and Class Skills are known to work.

It looks like Stern Gaze isn't adding the ½ Class Level (Minimum +1) to the Sense Motive skill. On checking, it's not adding to the Intimidate skill either. Adding a level of Inquisitor results in a +1, so it appears that it's the 'Minimum +1' that's not being accounted for.

When choosing a breath weapon for an Eidolon, you cannot choose what type it is going to be (fire, cold, etc.) if it is a cone. If it is a line, there is a sliver for the drop down box that you can click, then you press the down arrow key to select your type.

Bucklers can be made of darkwood and enchanted. We have precedent from James Jacobs, in Pathfinder #37, page 21.

Yeah, you can fix it with the editor, but you shouldn't have to, as it's not a houserule.

EDIT: I concede that this can be easily fixed with the editor (I just did it). However if you're e-mailing .por files back and forth with your players, now you have to share user files too, and it gets to be a drag when this isn't a houserule.

Wolf Lair has to go exactly by the wording in the books. They can't make any interpretations at all. I hate to say using a module even from Paizo really does not prove anything. Last year in AP#30 it was shown on a NPC that Vital Strike and Spring Attack where to be used together. Even going so far as to have that tactic listed in the Combat section of the NPC. This was later shown to be invalid with the latest Errata.

Also from the words of James Jacobs nothing he says is official. If it is not in the Errata or FAQ from Jason or Sean than its just an opinion of that person.

As can be seen its very easy to fix. Though as you have also seen each player has to have this .user file. To make this easier you can create Import Files that make installing those .user files easier. Basically a import file is a file that has a number of .user files combined into a single file that will auto-import itself correctly into HL. You can check it out by going to Tools->Launch HLExport...

Version: 4.20
Craft: Armor is listed twice. Once with the ID: skCrafArm and a second time with the ID: skCrafArmr.

No additional sources are enabled.

On the conditions page, Kneeling is listed as a +2 ranged, and -2 Melee attacks. When it should read. Kneeling +2 ranged and -2 melee AC. not a bonus and negative to attacks but in defense AGAINST those attacks.

Actually nope. Its a bit confusing but you have to remember their is no such thing as a AC vs Range and AC vs Melee. Their is however a To Hit value for those. So you activate that condition when YOU are attacking a kneeling target and that way the math works out the same its just opposite from how you normally do it is all.

Anyways that is how it is scripted by Mathias to work so its actually a WAD (works as designed). :) :p

I think I found a bug. I was putting a cleric into Herolab. Herolab said he was not proficent with his large steel shield. Pathfinder core book says cleric proficent with all but tower shields.
