Pathfinder Community Packs

No xp found error

after installing bestiary 5 I am getting the error message below.

I need the error message you are getting when you Load Pathfinder. That is the error that is important as that is the one that is throwing HL into safe mode.

The message you showed just means you had turned on my "No XP Option" for leveling PCs and that option is now gone. :(

I am going to assume the error you are getting is THIS. In which case you need to upgrade GM Pack to the latest version 3.14.

yep that was it. its fixed now:D
 
There's an issue with Heal Injuries (6th level psionic power from Ultimate Psionics) - the text for this power is completely wrong and seems to be for a different power entirely.
 
The following errors have been around for a while.

Kleestad (GM Pack, AP007-Curse of the Crimson Throne) Should not be a Uncommon Race (should be an NPC Race). It is a Gargantuan Aberration.

Giant, Cave (CB) is not an Uncommon Race (it is an NPC Race).

Jaculi (GMPack FGG TomeOfHorrors - Races) is not an Monster Class Race (should be a NPC Race). It is a Magical Beast.

Wasn't sure if the Giant, Cave (CB) was yours but as the other two were I decided to take a chance.

Thanks for the bug report its logged as Issue#5.
 
Since the last community package came out I have been getting the following error every time I try to open the programme.

Resource 'deletesmup' - Bitmap file not found: c:\ProgramData\HeroLab\data\pathfinder\delete_small-up.bmp
Resource 'deletesm_up' - Bitmap file not found: c:\ProgramData\HeroLab\data\pathfinder\delete_small-up.bmp

and the X "delete" buttons are now just blank grey boxes.

I had been hoping that the next update would resolve matters, but rather than doing so, it now causes it to attempt to load in "recovery" mode, so that I can repair the problem. This however fails, and until I close the programme it is stuck in a loop.

Is this a know error with a fix, or am I just going to have to scrub and reinstall?
 
Let's try something less drastic than scrub and re-install, first. Just re-install the Pathfinder files - no need to delete them first. This issue sounds like a glitched install of the files themselves.
 
Well, now I'm getting:

COM-GMPack_ModulePaizo-Bestairys.user(line4888) - Thing - Duplicate record encountered ('lGrioth')

But at least I'm able to run the programme, and the Xs are back.. Many thanks.

And a quick fiddle has cleared that up too. :)

I've downloaded the community packs, as well as Raven X's stuff, and imported it, but it doesn't show up in HL. I've looked in Program Data/Hero Lab/data/pathfinder and the files are all there. However, in the Configure Hero window, under User Content, it says "no user sources defined."

I haven't been able to access them since I got my new computer. I just updated to Hero Lab 7.4a and Pathfinder 12.10, and tried reimporting all of the user content packages I want and I still can't use them.
 
This sounds like your Hero Lab has dropped into safe mode, which loads no user content. When you first loaded Pathfinder an error appeared, you can right click on the error and select copy and then paste it here.

My Hero Lab lists Cerebremancer, Elocater, Metaforge, Metamind, Phrenic Slayer, Psion Uncarnate, Psychic Fist, Pyrokineticist, Soul Archer, Thrallherd, and War Mind. One of my current games has both an Elocater and a Metaforge in it, both players using Hero Lab.
