Server Going Down for Maintenance

The server that handles license activation, product sales, and data files downloads for Hero Lab will be going down for a protracted period tonight for planned maintenance. It will probably go down and come back up a few times over the course of the night.

Please do NOT report this as a bug to technical support or anywhere else, as this is a planned outage and there is nothing support can do to assist. We will do our best to keep the outage as short as possible, but there are some lengthy tasks that need to be completed.

There were some significant complications during the maintenance process and we're still working on things. We'll let everyone know when the server is back online.
 
You forgot to mention...

You failed to mention that while the server is down, update checks are also failing to go through & causing HeroLab to error-out (& crash every now & again when it does).

Unfortunately, while the server is offline, users will be unable to do the following:

Activate Hero Lab or Army Builder licenses
Download data file updates, or
Make any purchases from our web site.

Nothing ever goes as planned, just think Rob, how boring and fruitless your life would be with all that extra free time.:)

Hero Lab should not be crashing, even with the server offline! If anyone is experiencing this, please report it to support@woflair.com or send a crash report, as that sounds like a bug we may need to fix.
 
Mine's not crashing, but it is still erroring out when looking for updates. Any idea on when the server will be back up?
 
FYI: Hero Lab and Army Builder users can activate their licenses and download updates again! For those of you waiting to make purchases, our sales website should be up later tonight. We'll post here when it's back online.
 
The Army Builder and Hero Lab sales site is officially back online. A huge thank you to all of our users for your patience and understanding during this migration.
