[Workaround] Cleric: Cloistered Cleric/Evangelis/Merciful Healer Medium Armor Prof

This bug that removes your Medium Armor Proficiency, and even manually adding Medium Armor Proficiency still shows a validation error.

Does anyone have a work around to this?

Ok fun diversion for a few minutes as I have created a small .user file with a fix. The file "PFRPG_Fix_ArchetypeArmor.user" once added to HL will add 8 new things and a new source called "Armor Proficiency - Fix".

Once the source "Armor Proficiency - Fix" is activated you will find under Feats four new feats for "Armor Proficiency, Shadow" for Light, Medium, Heavy, and Shields. If you are taking the feat add one of these to your character to get the correct proficiency to work.

If you took a class, in example Fighter, where you where suppose to get the Proficiency you will need to go to the "Adjust" tab -> "Other Adjustments" and add "Armor Proficiency, Shadow" for Light, Medium, Heavy, and Shields. Selecting one of these will give the correct proficiency feat without eating up one of your Feat slots.

Download PFRPG_Fix_ArchetypeArmor.user at d20pfsrd in the zMisc folder.

Let me know if it does not work in some situations.

Merry X-mass all. :)

Thank you Shadow, much appreciated. Just downloaded your file and enabled it under `Configure Hero` and looks like it works perfectly!!! Thanks. +250 XP

Fix by adding a Feat from the Feat Tab:

Exactly what I was looking for. I was hoping there would be a fix since it seems like it should be pretty easy to fix what is a pretty simple bug, but this works for me.

Glade it helps and this is just a Temporay Fix by the community until HL puts out an official fix.

At which time my advice would be to remove my .user file, you will get a warning that the "Things" are missing when you open the .por file, and then the official fix should take over for the class. Make any small change to the .por and then save it again. You won't at that time get any more warnings about missing Thing.s

ShadowChemosh - harmor is talking about a different (and much simpler) bug than the issue your workaround is intended to fix. (His is a different armor proficiency bug, so your workaround happened to fix that, too).

Of course just happens to be the day I am actually on top of things. :( Just removed it. I have a copy at home I can put back up.
