I've been trying to add Super Power Points to a character to offset the cost of the Switchable power via the Arcane Power Points in Permanent Adjustments. I know the workaround is "Copy the character and reload it", but that becomes problematic against someone with a ton of trick arrows-- I'd much rather grant extra SP/Arcane points and have them all on the same character sheet. However, adding Arcane Power Points doesn't seem to have any effect on the available Super Power Points. Is this a known bug, or am I doing something wrong?

Aren't APP and SPP different names for essentially the same thing, or do they actually function significantly differently? It seems to me somewhat overpowered end even a little bit munchkinny (no offense, I hope) to buy both for the same character, especially when there are other urgent needs for Edges.

Normally, I'd agree, but this isn't munchkinny-- Switchable is something that's clearly defined in the SPC rules (pg. 27 of the Explorer's version of SPC) but isn't currently supported by HL. Mind you, I'm not blaming anyone here-- I'd imagine it would be a nightmare to program. All I'm looking to do is replicate the effect described in the rules via adding Arcane/Super PPs, which don't seem to work, and that's an entirely different and more significant problem that should be addressed for a variety of different reasons. Understand that if anything, I'm trying to follow the rules here, not circumvent them.

You know, it's funny you should mention that...

You can't see it right now (and likely wouldn't want to) but I am doing my successful programming dance. I finally got Switchable taken care of today. It'll be available in the next update. Woo-Hoo!!!

Awesome! Keep up the great work, and while you're dancing, don't forget to roll a D6!

We should do one parodying Lou Reed's "Take a Walk on the Wild Side" and call it "Make a Roll with a Wild Die"...

We played Savage Worlds the other day
The entire group came over just to play
The first to go was my friend named Ray
He'd drawn a king, but they got the “J”
The GM says “Hey, Ray, Make a Roll with a Wild Die”
He said “Hey, Ray, Make a Roll with a Wild Die”

The next game we were out on an island
Sharks circling ‘round us like we were on the menu
The GM said “Don’t lose your head
If you do you might end up dead”
He says “Your turn, Make a Roll with a Wild Die”
He said “It’s your turn, Make a Roll with a Wild Die”

Next we tried Deadlands Noir on Saturday
New Orleans is a different kind of LA
We killed a guy the other day
We just found out he didn’t stay that way
He moans “You're dead, Make a Roll with a Wild Die”
He said “Rise again, Make a Roll with a Wild Die”
And the zombies go ooh, ooh ooh, ooh ooh, ooh ooh ooh ooh, ooh ooh, ooh ooh

Next we tried to survive Solomon Kane
Dark pulp by Conan’s author caused us pain
Who knew that this little old man
Could summon demons when he got mad?
It’s time again, to Make a Roll with a Wild Die
To risk your neck, on a Roll with a Wild Die, Alright

Next we tried swords and sorcery
Thinking familiar ground would set us free
When the dragon got the “J”
We are talking TPK
Unless we can save our butts, and Make a Roll with a Wild Die
You can always win, on a Roll with a Wild Die!

And the zombies go ooh, ooh ooh, ooh ooh, ooh ooh ooh ooh, ooh ooh, ooh ooh

Think I should post it on Pinnacle's site?
