Adding Specialized spells

I have just leveled to Mystic Theurge 2. I'm prompted to add my 3rd level specialized spell. I can't figure it out.

(I'm using a tablet. So what I describe below is from that point of view.)

On the wizard spells tab,
- "Add level 3 specialized spell" - I tap on that
- I only see my 1st and 2nd level spells, only choice is "Add - Custom/Megamagic spell" - I tap to go back
- I tap on my spellbook, I can see my two 3rd-level spells I added for leveling up. I added them as 'scribed, no cost - ink only' because when I tried to add them as 'free' I got a warning I exceeded my free spells. (even though that's how I added spells when I previously leveled)

So now I'm stuck. I see the 3rd level spells in my spellbook but I can't add any specialized spells.

Can anyone provide the steps I'm not seeing?
