I'm sure a lot of you figured this out but for those who haven't I'm going to share a EUREKA.
When you have a table that you want to copy from a document and paste to a table in a snippet this hint will make your life easier. Copy one column from the document and paste it into your snippet. I use the unformatted text paste so each row is on a separate line. Then highlight the text you want and drag it to the appropriate cell. This made my night so much easier and now I won't dread the future tables...as much. |

I use microsoft word as a middle man...
Copy entire table from pdf Paste into word massage table to look correct (I have two table styles I setup which makes the entire process about 2 mins start to finish) select the entire table in word copy paste into realmworks (no special paste - just plain old ctl-v) Boom - table looks correct. Here is an example of the finished product. |

That sounds even better but what about the font? I hate the default font and size so I always change it for every realm I work on.

You can hold alt while copying in Adobe reader to only copy what you select. Aka a single column. This let's you paste into excel in a way that a broken table can be quickly put back together.
Also... I use excel instead of word. Jinkies! I had no idea about the Alt-Select function in Adobe reader. That's a game changer! Hat's off to daplunk for the tip! |

I have been using OneNote lately. It has a feature that allows you to paste an image of text into a note, then right click the image and copy out the text.
