Hi All,

My saved decks are not showing up within Card Vault (version 1.5)
anymore when I click on open deck and navigate to the folder all the
decks are in (Card Vault>Decks). If I double click a deck, it opens
Card Vault and the deck with the following message: "Saved deck
created with a different version of data files. Compatability
unknown but attempting the load." I tried to save the deck again
after it was opened but it still doesn't show up when trying to use
the open deck feature.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Also, while I'm here. How can I create decks if I don't have the
cards in my inventory?

Mike

It is most likely filtering your deck folder based on the default deck
prefix. when you attempt to open a deck, in the file name box does it
have "[gamesystem]*"? if so, delete everything but the * and it will
show all of your decks. You can also change the default behavior under
the menu Settings -> Basic Settings -> Add game prefix when saving decks.

Yes, that warning message is there in case the datafile author makes a
change to the datafiles that would make decks created with outdated
datafiles be incompatible with the current version.

If you don't make any changes to the deck it will not update the deck
file. just change a card's quantity (then change it back) and save the
deck. you may also want to rename all your saved decks to use the game
system prefix. It helps filter out decks from other games.

there is no need to have any cards in your inventory to create decks
with cardvault.
