The character I have in Herolab has too many trials and one tier more than she should have. unfortunately I don't have a corrected backup? Anyone know how to fix this?

Just enter in a negative number for the trials to get it correct and then delete one tier if it does not automatically correct.

That fixed the bulk of the problem. now for some reason however it wants me to select a total of 8 mythic spells when I should only have four for mythic tier. I tried to remove the mythic spellcasting path ability and re-add it.

Did you select mythic spellcasting twice? That would give you double the spells.

I have it selected once. It's looking to give 8 spells to a tier 4 character. When I remove mythic spellcasting it says I have 4 too many. When I removed the GM Mythic Pack the problem went away, when I reinstalled it, it returned.

I found the problem. Somehow one of Shadow Chemoh's adjustments had snuck in Mythic Ranks +4. Removing it fixed everything.

Glad you found the problem. You should be able to keep the Shadow Chemoh's Adjustments and just make sure it is at 0 for extra mythic ranks.
