I play a Tiefling Admixture Wizard in PFS and I just hit 8th level and I can't add Elemental Manipulation to the Favored Class choices. I enjoy using them a lot, as I already have +2 uses of Versatile Evocation and the Elemental Manipulation would work nice for some fights. (double up on elemental resistance so to speak)

What book is Elemental Manipulation from? I'm not familiar with that.

If you're referring to the Tiefling favored class option for Wizards, it wouldn't apply to Elemental Manipulation. Elemental Manipulation is gained at level 8, and the FCO only applies to arcane school powers available at 1st level.
Tiefling Wizard: "Select one arcane school power at 1st level that is normally usable a number of times per day equal to 3 + the wizard's Intelligence modifier. The wizard adds +1/2 to the number of uses per day of that arcane school power." |

Ah, I see the issue here.
The tiefling favored class bonus only applies to 1st level specialization school powers (as Elemental Manipulation is gained at 8th level, it's not a valid selection). Also, it only applies to powers usable 3+Attr mod times per day (as Elemental Manipulation is usable Class level rds per day, it's also not a valid choice). |

Andd.... thank you.
(I had lent out my book this last week). Lots of fun with the favored bonus anyway. With all the elemental spells I have running versatile evocation is far good enough. I don't really need more icing than that. |
