Sleet was enjoying a tasty beverage at his local tavern, when a Tarrasque showed up in the local area. He managed to valiantly get on it's back and ride it. How he did it is a mystery to this day... @ the community> It should not be overlooked LWD could have easily not done this. Would there be risk in simply "going for the money" sure. There will be some that could say (and perhaps rightly) that they did it because there are things not ready, not finished, not perfect..... But even if we were to quantify Liz's "1000s of people" into just 1,000 that decided to stay and pay and wait out for those list of things, It ACTUALLY, really quantifies to this: Not simply just 25k (assuming just a 1000 dedicated people times 6 months service hang on), BUT the more important currencies' of reputation, bad relation, and customer satisfaction.... Intangibles you simply can't assign a dollar value to. And as I often remind my players, why create a random roll, when you don't have to through good action? Why let the roll of the dice and fate determine your position, when you can choose to control it? While I am an active supporter, and perhaps a more active critic at times my respect is only heightened by this action. Again THANKS LWD for taking the high ground and not taking the "Chance" on short gain over longevity. |

I'm finding the issue becoming bothersome when I use RW during a game. With all that a GM has going on during a game being able to do a quick glance at the list of containing topics to see what's next is extremely helpful. Since my topics aren't sorting by prefix I have to be extra vigilant during my games or I'll skip a topic that is out of order. I know this is probably trivial compared to other things on that buried plate but it is causing problems for me. Since no one else has mentioned having this problem it could be something I'm doing wrong so I can send you the realm to look at it. Pretty please. *whimper* |
