I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but this is what I am experiencing:
I see the smart image in the player preview as a black square. I reveal a region and then save it, but the preview stays black. I've tried resizing, zooming in and out and nothing works. What am I doing wrong? |

Your steps sound correct, and I just repeated the same steps and got an image in my realm to reveal correctly. The topic that contains the image and the image snippet are both revealed, correct?

I checked and yes, otherwise I wouldn't see it in the preview, correct?

Is it the small preview image in the main topic which remains black?
I think this is intentional in Player view, since otherwise it would show everything including the areas you haven't actually revealed. |

No, it is the complete smart image, not the preview.

Farnaby, can you shoot an email to support@wolflair.com with screenshots for each step your taking? It will be easier for us to help you through the support system then trying to troubleshoot here on the forums. Thanks!

I have the same problem.. I made a map for Baldur's Gate, added a few places to it.. I made sure to disable the 'fog of war'.. It all looks fine in 'DM view' but when I try to look at it in Player View (with right click on the map) it just shows a big black square..
Funny thing is, there is ONE small white pin in all that blackness and I can't select it.. |
