Good afternoon all,
I am DM’ing a group through the AD&D Edition, Oriental Adventures modules OA 1 and subsequent modules. To this end, I am creating each encounter in HL. Fortunately, a soul has already provided hard work in coding many of the classes, and are already created as 3.0/3.5 in HL, except: Bushi, Sohei and Yakuza. I’ve done searches on this site and found some 4th edition references to these classes. However, has anyone created data files for these as classes in D20 that is willing to share? If there are no data files, I am sure that I’ll be posting follow ups, asking for assistance on creating a AD&D to 3.5 update for these classes. Cheers. |

I'm not aware of any of these classes having been entered into HL.

Bushi started. After a few hours of input, recieved the following when using Test Now:
Hero Lab was forced to stop compilation after the following errors wer detected: Thing 'cBushi' - Bootstrap think 'cBusFP' does not exist. Found this under CLASS tab. Deleted it. New pop-up: non-existant bootstrap thing Testing stopped. Advice appreciated. Cheers. |

Sounds like you are attempting to bootstrap the thing "cBusFP" to the class thing "cBushi", except "cBusFP" doesn't exist.
One thing that can be tricky when working in the editor is when you create something new, then bootstrap it to something else you need to hit "Test Now" on the first thing first or HL won't know it exists. A way to get around this problem is to make all your changes, save the file then compile it all from the Portfolio by hitting "CTRL-R". |
