Just to cover the basics... the feat chain starts with "IMPROVED Dirty Trick".. you're not looking for a Feat named "Dirty Trick" are you?

i am looking for "improved dirty trick" -- as a matter of fact, searching for "dirty trick" (which would include "improved dirty trick") pulls up any feat (allowed or not) with the words "dirty trick" except "dirty trick master". |

Dirty Trick Master isn't in the same book as improved dirty trick - dirty trick master is from Bastards of Golarion, improved dirty trick is in the APG's new maneuvers section.
I do see both of them when I filter the feat list for "dirty trick" on my own copy. |

There shouldn't be anything else required other than "Advanced Player's Guide New Combat Maneuvers", so I don't know why you're not seeing it. Nothing you've mentioned should keep you from seeing it.
