Revealing things to my players in play

The only other option is a second monitor on the GM's machine which can display what is called player view where the GM can reveal things in real time.

As kbs666 says, player view is what was designed to be used during the game.

The sync and use of player edition were designed for use between game sessions, so that players know what has happened so far.

The way I deal with this is to use my TV as a second screen, connected to my PC with an HDMI cable. A very long HDMI cable.

Like Lexin I used my TV for a time, then I bought a TV mounted in a case that I put on the table and this allows me to not only show the map and other content, but I can use the maps in realmworks as a battlemap.
