Exporting a character to d20pro I got an error. Character is a Cleric 12 with the Vampire Template. Error is below:

This plugin is invalid. Please recompile it using the latest API and try again.
Caused by: Unexpected exception
Caused by: String index out of range: -1.

What is an API? I have the latest version of HL and the d20 package and the d20pro.... don't know any more recent ones.

Base on my experience, that means the output from HL is formatted slightly different from what D20 Pro expects. I see the same error when trying to import an Alchemist character. In my case, the problem was the damage description for the bombs had the word "fire" in it, which D20 Pro did not like.

I will assume you got this error on the import into d20Pro and not the export from Herolabs.

Which importer did you use? Did you use the Herolabs one or accidently use the d20 one?

Could you attach your .por and .hld20pro files so I and see if I can figure out what is broken.

Thanks.

Edit: I do not recall if you can attach files to posts here, so email me your files to thecheesegrinder at gmail dot com
