Second Darkness - Chapter 5 - Armistril has the following error:
Note! Due to intentional changes to the data files since the loaded file was saved, certain error messages may be expected, as outlined below. If one of these errors occurs, it does not represent a loading problem unless specified as such. The Advanced Player's Guide Second Printing changes the bonus spell for a level 8+ Witch with the Trickery Domain from Phantasmal Killer to Hallucinatory Terrain. This may cause an error to be reported. Here is an example of what this error will look like: Chained pick 'spPhanKil4' has been orphaned due to missing bootstrap in batch '346'Hellknight characters from Pathfinder 27 will lose their Hellknight levels by default when loaded (as the Hellknight class was replaced in the Inner Sea World Guide). If you want to continue using your old Hellknights, see the Data File FAQ on the Help menu, and check the 'How can I get the old Hellknight back?' section. Example error: Pick 'cHellknigh' has been orphaned due to missing thing in batch '383' Chained pick 'xDamRd' has been orphaned due to missing bootstrap in batch '203' |

I am getting the following error after downloading the new Community Bestiary through the Updates window:
File: PFRPG_Curse_of_the_Crimson_Throne_Bestiary.user (line 348) - Thing 'rUChaindSp' - String exceeds maximum length for attribute 'value'. Looking at the .user file referenced, it looks like the Description field for the Chained Spirit race is what is causing the error. If it is relevant, I am currently running the Mac beta. I don't know if there is any difference between the two with respect to maximum field lengths in user files. |

Here is the RAW XML of line 348: Code:

The ghostly horror possesses its own ethereal bonds, though, its semi-transparent, vaguely humanoid figure clenched in the hold of countless crisscrossing chains—writhing and tightening over its vaporous form in unending torture. Several of these chains extend from the ghost’s body, some dangling through the floor or reaching seemingly through the ceiling above, while others pool in spectral lengths"/> Hero Lab Resources: Pathfinder - d20pfsrd and Pathfinder Pack Setup 3.5 D&D (d20) - Community Server Setup 5E D&D - Community Server Setup Hero Lab Help - Hero Lab FAQ, Editor Tutorials and Videos, Editor & Scripting Resources. Council of Thieves - Chapter 4 - Avahzi Serafian
I don't seem to have the file that provides the Diabolist class - is this a Community resource, or is it housed in a data set I would have to purchase? Note, I'm currently using the individual file downloads from the d20pfsrd site, as I haven't purchased the bundle containing Gods & Magic, which is identified as a necessary resource for the automated updating data set collection. Note, I have not downloaded much of anything from the d20pfsrd site other than the Council of Thieves data set, and the Second Darkness data set to address the issue noted above in an earlier post. Many thanks for any help on this issue! ~Doskious Steele |

I may be able to provide some insight on the Gods & Magic front, since I don't have it - aside from potentially being the repository for the Diabolist class (though from what I can find in the published G&M work, the actual book doesn't seem to provide such a class designation and writeup), the only compile error I was getting that seemed likely to be related to Gods and Magic was an error for a spell-thing: "spBuGlory4"
That error was related to the Asura creature subtype. Dunno if that helps; I'll try to download the rest of the content individually from the d20pfsrd site to see if there are any other instances of compile errors. If there aren't, I'll see if it will let me download and use the file through the auto-updater. (I may not finish all of this until the weekend, so hopefully by Sunday I'll have something substantive to report...) The only other thing that occurs to me is that if the datasets were constructed using Deity selections from G&M, that might be why it's flagging as required. If this is the case, I will say that none of the creatures I've imported into my own Portfolio for collecting NPCs had any functional glitches, though each one did warn me that there was an expected resource missing, and almost all of them had no Deity selection pre-assigned. Anyway, I can't say enough how much I appreciate the work that his been done on these resources. Thanks very much! ~Doskious Steele |

By the way, a quick forum search turned up this:
http://forums.wolflair.com/showpost....60&postcount=4 Apparently Diabolist is in Campaign Setting #3 (Book of the Damned). (Odd that the auto-updated resource doesn't flag as needing that data set, as from the documentation provided it would seem to include this NPC.) Sorry for missing the search result earlier. ~Doskious Steele |

I'm still seeing the issue I reported earlier on the mac version with a compile error in the Curse_Of_The_Crimson_Throne_Bestiary.user file. However, I think I have identified the issue. This is a repost from the Mac status thread:
The Windows version has the following on the relevant line: Code:
<fieldval field="rDescript" value="Its eyes blazing in deathless rage, a phantom floats unfettered by the bonds of the living world. The ghostly horror possesses its own ethereal bonds, though, its semi-transparent, vaguely humanoid figure clenched in the hold of countless crisscrossing chains—writhing and tightening over its vaporous form in unending torture. Several of these chains extend from the ghost’s body, some dangling through the floor or reaching seemingly through the ceiling above, while others pool in spectral lengths"/> Code:
<fieldval field="rDescript" value="Its eyes blazing in deathless rage, a phantom floats unfettered by the bonds of the living world. The ghostly horror possesses its own ethereal bonds, though, its semi-transparent, vaguely humanoid figure clenched in the hold of countless crisscrossing chains& #151;writhing and tightening over its vaporous form in unending torture. Several of these chains extend from the ghost& #146;s body, some dangling through the floor or reaching seemingly through the ceiling above, while others pool in spectral lengths"/> Eliminating the escaped characters allows the file to be compiled successfully. |
