How do you get drones to work

So building a Mechanic I select Drone. I see how I can switch between them

I also see the ability to select the type of Drone for Race.

Things I don't know how to do:
1. How do select Additional Mods (get one at level 1)
2. How to select additional Feats (get one at level 1)
3. Ability to select Melee or Small arms to start with. As the book states:

Your drone is proficient in your choice of small arms or basic melee weapons

Also not sure why Theme would be there, it complains if I have not selected one.

I know drones are being worked on, and there is some issue with the words being used (like race instead of Chassis). And I figure these could be bugs, but it seems like something that I could be missing somehow. Are Drones just not functional?

I should have really submitted this while in beta, but I assumed it was known. Basically 1/14th of the classes dont work (7 classes, Mechanic having 2 options).

So what am I missing? Or do drones just not work?

These three are buggy and will be fixed soon.

That's on the Race section towards the bottom, along with weapon mounts.

We'll also do another pass in our next update for anything else still showing up for drones that shouldn't be.

We're still planning some improvements in the future to help with the Race section of drones now having a big pile of tables, but everything should be usable for drones.
