I'm trying to make a new firebolt cantrip. I used copy (ray of frost), edited the details including a unique id. However when I make a character its not an option to select as a spell in their spellbook. If I go to adjustments and add it to class spell list there its selectable so I feel I need to do something to add it to the class list. Restarting herolab doesn't change anything from what I can see it should work but for some reason its not being added to the classes spell list even though the entry is a direct copy of an existing spell.

You did not check the "Don't include for free in spellbooks" checkbox. I tested this in my own pathfinder setup, and when I tried creating a wizard, this spell is already in the character's spellbook, so it's not listed among the spells I can add to that spellbook,

Odd its not in my spellbooks, still checking that makes it selectable thank you. Ah it adds them if I select add cantrips but not to the starting book, well at least I know what's happening now.
