Hi there,

I've begin using RW tonight and one thing poped up that was a bit anoying. The Information Window is fixed, wont budge and prevents any other manipulation of the program.

Would it be possible to make this window floating? I like having it up while working in an area i'm discovering and right now it's not possible. It also blocks the view of some elements that are mentioned in the information, but i can't look at them and read the information at the same time.

Thanks

Pat

(Sorry for the bad english. It's not my native language)

What do you mean by "information window"?

What's in the window?

Hi,

Well, when you click on the little blue circle with an I inside, there is an information window that pops up. That window is blocking all interaction with the application. I suggest that it could be a floating window so we could move it out of the way and actually see what is behind it. With 2 monitor, i could move it on the second monitor.

I hope i'm more clear.

Thanks

Pat

Yeah, those help windows are weird dialog box-like things, aren't they? I'd much rather see normal dialog boxes or non-modal windows. (A help palette?)

In any case, all of the information in those help "dialogs" is also available in the various manuals. The Reference Guide has lists of keyboard commands and terms, while the others explain the UI.

After you've used it for a bit you won't need those help "dialogs" anymore. :)
