The short answer is, you can't. Per the book vehicles and drones come with a sensor array, but what sensors those are isn't listed, and there's no rules to upgrade, replace, or augment those sensors because the rigger book isn't out yet.
Based on the way it normally works I'd assume that every vehicle has this standard array:
Atmosphere sensor
2x cameras
2x rangefinders
Motion sensor

As a quick-and-dirty house rule I'd allow installation of additional sensors at 3 Capacity per Body, limited by the rating of the size of vehicle. Unfortunately, none of that carries over to Hero Lab. Until we get a new book, I wouldn't expect the functionality to be in the program.

Page 445 under Housing states otherwise.

"Most vehicles and drones come factory equipped with a sensor array... What you can put your sensor in is limited by the Rating of the sensor (see sensor housing table)"

So there is a rule, but you are right, it´s not in the Rigger section.

Because I have a strong suspicion that the vehicle sensor rules are going to be firmed up in a later book, sensor arrays for vehicles are on the back burner. In the meantime, if that array is important to the way you play your vehicles, the "Item is free, with no availability" adjustment will let you add the sensor array that you and your GM agree is there without getting charged for it.

Thank you for the clarification. Our GM is no problem at all so the workaround will do. I´ll give it a try tonight

Mathias, How do I use the "Item is free, with no availability" adjustment? and where do I find the sensor array item so that I can add it to a vehicle?

On the personal tab "add personal adjustments"

Though many items have a checkbox "item is free"

Thanks for the response. Now, can anyone tell me where can I find the Sensor Array? I looked for it under "Sensors" in the Gear section, but only found the "Handheld Sensor Housing" and "wall-Mounted Sensor Housing".

Use one of those - the handheld is probably appropriate for drones, and the larger one for large drones and normal vehicles.

Just as an fyi. P445 SR5 under Sensor array. Can install up to 8 sensors in an array. Both sensor housings are limited to rating in sensors which maxes at 6 for the wall and 3 for hand held. You'll need to fake install multiple housings to replicate an array. Cameras do include basic microphones if you're strapped for space.
