I have seen this asked before and the answer has been look in adjustments and choose Add Familiar then you will see it in the warlock tab. I do not see it in there. How do I add a familiar? Am I missing a update for this?

I don't know what posts you are referring to (I can't see any about adding a familiar in d20 going back 4 years, were you thinking about Pathfinder?) - except for either making a Class Variant in the editor that allows a Familiar, or by having your Hero take the "Obtain Familiar" Feat from Complete Arcane. There is no adjustment in d20.
If I'm wrong, maybe Sendric can correct me. (Or anyone else!) Current RPG's: Pathfinder (GM), Pathfinder (Player), Gamma World (GM, Pathfinder homebrew). HeroLab: 3.5 & Pathfinder. HL User Files for PF: Greyhawk Setting, Gamma World (WIP). DM and player of D&D since 1980. |

Warlocks don't have familiars in 3.5 that I'm aware of. Are you sure this is for 3.5?
