Hi!
I noticed when creating a l4 character you can select all class feats at l4 feats. Yes, the rules allow retraining during downtime, but not retraining to a higher lvl feat so a l4 char should only be allowed 1 l4 feat, the tool should complain if you choose more. Currently it seems only to care on the number of Feats and that you do not take one higher than your lvl. Not sure if it also happens with spells, didn’t check spells. Thanks. Sent also a bugreport by email. Best regards, Steffen |

This is not a bug but the way Hero Lab works both Classic and Online. If you want to build a valid level 4 character you must start at level 1. Finish all the choices and then go to level 2. Make ALL your choices and then increase to level 3.
As HL has always worked this way I would not expect this to change anytime soon. if you did invalid choices ). Speaking of PF2 as they already complain on some things (like if you choose too many spells or feats) it could be implemented the same way. |

I wondered the same thing as the OP when I built my lvl 4 char for the playtest yesterday.
Probably should at least prompt a warning. |
