Tool to Convert .def to .aug?

Is there a tool to convert a definition file to an augmentation file?

Or, failing that a crib sheet on what needs to stripped out of the def file's XML?

No tool that I am aware of - if you are looking at moving the groups and rulesets then create a blank aug file and set up a group and ruleset (they will be deleted later so name them anything) then save it. This means when you do the next step you have markers in the xml file where to paste things

Open the data folder and open the def file in notepad and do the same for the aug, search the def file for the rulesets and cut them, paste them into the aug file in the right place, repeat for the groups.

Save both the notepad files and all should be good
