Any way I could get a look at how HL looks at alternatives to BAB when calculating CMD (for example, when the hero has the Defensive Combat Training feat)? I need to implement a similar feat, one that uses caster level (not the usual caster level, but a sort of "magic BAB" I calculate in a custom component) in place of BAB for CMD purposes.

Overwrite the "tManBase" field with whatever magic caster level you have created.

I tried that at first, but I found that it affects CMB as well. I'm only looking to change CMD here. The components for CMB and CMD don't seem to have their own "bonus from BAB" fields.

You may have to calculate the difference and give that as a Bonus to CMD only.

In example the character has a +1 Bonus but your ability provides a +3 bonus to CMD. Give a +2 bonus to CMD only.

Wait doesn't the monk have this "exact" ability? Ok that is for CMB only but the concept is the same. Looking at the script they handle like I mentioned above giving a Bonus to CMB.

I'll do that if I need to. I was just hoping to have the popup display be all nice and pretty with everything attributed properly.

True statement. Someone will complain. I would point them to the Monk and that LW couldn't do it. You can't do it.
