I just recently purchased card vault and wanted to add M2013 myself. I created a new data file, found the card-list and art, and set about defining the first card. When I wanted to add the Edition and Release tags, I found that instead of being able to define a new Magic 2013 edition tag, it only had a drop down with previous sets. I looked through the tutorial, and manual, (and maybe I just missed it,) but I can't find where to define the new M2013 tag so it will be available in the Edition/Release/block drop down. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

New tags must be added to the "definition" file for the game system. For Magic, the file is named "magic.def". In this file, you'll find assorted "group" elements that define groups of related tags. You can add new entries to the "edition" and "block" groups for the new release and any new block format that has been introduced. Once the entries are added to the definition file, they will be recognized and made available within CVEdit.

The only gotcha is that you need to add these entries via a text editor. The good news is that they are a single line apiece and there are numerous other entries to follow as an example.

Hope this helps!

Absolutely! Thanks so much. If I finish before the next update is released I'm more than willing to share my work. Thanks again!

Okay, Next question. I have captured the Card Art, and wish to associate it with the card created. How is this done?
