Attack Bonus with 1-Handed weapon in 2 hands

Evening all

Just in the middle of my weekly game (my character is dominated into a corner ), and noticed something odd.

I'm Half-Giant from Dreamscarred Press, and wielding a large hooked axe, normally a one-handed weapon, in two hands.

So as normal, I ticked the 1st and 2nd to signify this, and the damage is appropriate. But my weapon attack bonus goes down by one!

Normally with my strength, my cleric level of 11, and my +2 hooked axe, I hit at +14. Yet with the 1st and 2nd tickboxes ticked, it drops to +13.

I can't find any rules to say that this is the case. Am I missing a rule somewhere, or is it a bug with HL?

He doesn't have any attack modifying abilities or spells activated, so not sure what's going on :s

Yup.

You'd think after playing the game this long, I'd realise that.
