Okay, I had to split up the files as they would not export under the
same file (too long a text line in MS-DOS). You should be able to
download both files and import them both (no files are duped, so they
won't overwrite each other, just any old 2nd edition files). If
anybody knows how I can compress the export into one file, please let
me know.

As well as the new armies and units (Assassins and Inquisition are
not new armies, more like support add-ons, Grey Knights, etc.) there
have been several final bug fixes to the files.

Ork support weapons no longer display error messages for infinte
loops.
Marine weapons for ALL the chapters are now correct.
A couple of piece of wargear added (still official, just ones I
overlooked.).

Anyway, that's about it for now. It'll take a while for the next
file to get done, as the different chapters were all based off the
same general Marine file (so they was fast). I'm probably hitting
Eldar next, but anybody wants something else, give me a vote on it.

All comments about oversights appreciated, pleae let me know if
something's wrong! Have a good one.

Write a batch file... just put the extended command line into a text
file and rename it as somethingorother.bat. That way you'll be able to
rebuild them with a double-click

Voidhammer, would you mind uploading your files to the ab-files egroup
as well, or at least giving me permission to do it if you don't want to
do it yourself?

Actually just used Rob's suggestion. Worked like a charm, all the
files are in one now.

They've been there from the first day I finished them. I come here
first and update the file in the download section everytime I finish
a new army list. Haven't you been getting the auto-messages?
Anyway, the 2nd edition AB file is there and now includes Orks,
Tyranids, Imperial Guard, Space Marines (general), Ultramarines,
Blood Angels, Dark Angels, Space Wolves, Assassins, and the
Inquisition. All in one file ready for downloading and importing.

I've been getting them for *this* group, but not for ab-files, which is
totally different, but confusingly similar in some ways

ab-files is just for announcements about new versions of datafiles, etc.
It has 5-6 times as many members as this one too

Oh! Hmm, in that case, full permission is granted.
Use my description etc. Hell, I wrote these files for
2nd edition gamers (and me), so I definitely want them
to benefit from them! What's the addy for adding
ab-files group? If it's just announcements, then how
do you plan to upload files to them?

Went ahead and uploaded the file to the group. Could you please post
a notification to the group that it's there? I went ahead and
created a 2nd edition folder to upload it to, hope you don't mind.
Thanks for helping me spread the Heresy!

It's ab-files@egroups.com. It has the same file interface thing as this
egroup, which you're using - would you mind moving your file-uploading
thing there, and not do it at all here? I mean that in a nice way, not a
"get out of here you buffoon" way, mind

If you join it, I'll give you posting privileges so you can send emails
to it. It's moderated, so the people who send emails to it saying "WHEN
R UR NEXT 40K CODEX TRYANIDS FILES OUT????" don't get through (every
cloud).

Okay, thanks. I joined it soon after the first
e-mail. I searched egroups for it and then created a
2nd edition folder and uploaded the file there. Right
now it has the most recent 2nd edition file in the
downloads section. But posting rights are nice too,
then I can let everyone know As for the one here,
would you rather I pulled it off of here as well as no
longer updating here? Lemme know.

Yes, please - I'd like to keep the armybuilder group data-file free if
possible. Thanks
