How do I create creatures with mythic rank.

I believe it's by using the editor.. but I cannot find anything in there that helps me.

Any suggestions?

When creating a race in the editor there is a whole "Mythic Monsters" section where you can set the rank, among other things.

Aaron,

I think this is something that should be available through the bestiary monster creator. It is something a DM should be easily able to adjust. There is nothing in Mythic Adventures to prevent someone from adding 6 mythic ranks to a standard kobold. Having to go through the editor is not an appealing way of doing something to users that aren't familiar with how it works. If I can easily add mythic tiers to a PC, I should be able to have an incrementer on NPCs and Monsters (possibly set on the config screen or background tab).

Please do not PM me to inquire about datafiles I coded "for personal use" such as Exalted, World of Darkness, AD&D, or Warhammer 40K Roleplaying. I appreciate your interest, but I do not own the Intellectual Property rights to these game systems. Nor do I have permission from any of the Publishers to distribute the data files. As such, I cannot distribute the work I have done with community on these files. They are "for personal use" only. Thank you.

I am far too busy these days to answer emails. If you message me here there is no guarantee I will get back to you at all.

There are already simple mythic templates which you can apply to make a custom race mythic.

I'm aware of this, but the templates aren't all there is to mythic creature design. Like I said earlier, if I want to add six mythic ranks to an existing creature, that process should be easy to do. Having to make a copy of the existing race in the editor just to add ranks isn't the most efficient way of doing things.

Ok, I'll take a look today and try to hammer it down.

I really do not understand the editor.

I second Raven's comments.

Ok, I am looking at the editor and I do not see a "Mythic Monsters" section.

Under the race tab, I see:
Alt Race Trait
Customer Race Quality
Custom Race trait
Race
Race, Anim Cam
Racial Cust Spec
Subtype
Template
Type

I do not see what you are talking about.

I would like to take a current enemy that I have and give him mythic ranks, but I do not want to give mythic levels. How do I do this?

Click on race and scroll down. The mythic stuff is like, the second section I think.

See THIS post for a addon that allows for a simple Mythic Template that allows for turning any monster into a quick Mythic Encounter. Using this add on you can see the Mythic Dire Bear I created very fast.

This will be added to the next release of the Community Bestiary.

Hero Lab Resources:
Pathfinder - d20pfsrd and Pathfinder Pack Setup
3.5 D&D (d20) - Community Server Setup
5E D&D - Community Server Setup
Hero Lab Help - Hero Lab FAQ, Editor Tutorials and Videos, Editor & Scripting Resources.
Created by the community for the community
- Realm Works kickstarter backer (Alpha Wolf) and Beta tester.
- d20 HL package volunteer editor.

So, if I want to add mythic ranks to an dwarf that has an undead template... Do I make a custom race of mythic dwarf?

I am sorry for the silly questions... I just really do not understand.

Mythic ranks perform differently than mythic levels. This really should be an option.
