Often I have say 5 sp, but then try to buy an item that is 55 sp...but I get an error saying I don't have enough silver pieces.
Would it be possible have a new option under 'Configure Hero' that will auto convert your currency between the different coins? (Assume 0 currency exchange loss) Use case: Purchase something for 1000cp (in copper, not gold) but only have 20 gp, 7 sp, 5cp 1000cp - 5cp = 995cp 995cp - 7sp = 995cp - 70cp = 925cp 925cp - 9gp = 925cp - 900cp = 25cp Convert 1gp to 10 sp 25cp - 2sp = 25cp - 20cp = 5cp Convert 1 sp to 10 cp 5cp - 5cp = 0. Remaining total if my math was correct: 11gp, 9sp, 5cp |

Doesn't 1000 cp equal 10gp?
seems just easier to do it that way, but maybe I am wrong. besides your math is wrong... 20gp -9 -1(coverted) = 10gp 10sp -2 -1(converted) = 7sp 10cp-5 = 5cp final total: 10gp, 7sp, 5cp or 20gp - 10gp = 10gp and your 7sp and 5cp Last edited by Fntsyfnatk; October 24th, 2011 at 06:58 AM. |

Its also a matter of the weight of the coins. How much you carry affects movement.

thats why smart players buy gemstones with them or gaudy jewelry and wear their money like Mr. T. I pity the fool who walks around carrying 100,000 pennies.

You can currently exchange currency on the journal tab - enter -1 for the gp and 10 for the sp, then press "Earn", and you've broken down a gold piece.
A more easy-to-use converter has been requested before and is on our to-do list. |
