Hi Everyone,

I don't know if you can do this, or if it's something simple that I'm missing...

But when I create my own content, I want to have it show up in the sources menu as "Floppy Hat Games" (or whatever) instead of "User Content". Can you do this with the standard Hero Lab editor?

No.

You need to work with RAW XML files which are text files. In this case you need to create a .1st file. HERE is a write up I did about them. Overall very easy thing to start doing in XML.

Hero Lab Resources:
Pathfinder - d20pfsrd and Pathfinder Pack Setup
3.5 D&D (d20) - Community Server Setup
5E D&D - Community Server Setup

- Realm Works kickstarter backer (Alpha Wolf) and Beta tester.
- d20 HL package volunteer editor.

Thank you ShadowChemosh!
That was exactly what I was looking for, and very easy to implement.
Is there any way to force HL to disable of 3rd party sources when my system is in use?
I tried adding a source to the 1st file and making selectable = "no", and it didn't like that.

As a follow up question, how are we supposed to know to make that file? I looked for information on how to do this for days and saw nothing like this.

More questions!
The races that I have created always show up under "Featured Races". Can I create my own Main Category, and have my Races show under it? If yes, how?

Authoring Kit and or Authoring Kit wiki. I often use Savage Tide to learn because its files are 100% open sourced.

In addition my signature has links to lots of good information.

What game system? Makes a BIG difference in your questions which is why you should ask questions in the game specific forums.

If this is Pathfinder than no those categories are set and you can't add others.
