Status of the M&M files?

Been checking everyday to find notice of when the M&M files would be released. Been waiting with money in hand to buy the product. I'm anxious to start using it as soon as possible.

Other character generators have been a disappointment. From spreadsheets that are more work to use then simply writing out a character in a word processor the hard way, to a character generation program that never made it out of beta and died on the vine when the author completely disappeared. It's been an exercise in complete frustration.

I'm with you guys.

Last time we had any information from the board (either here or on the ATT), the 2.0 release of HeroLab was ahead of the M&M data sets.

Since the 2.0 version has been released, hopefully we'll get an update on the data set status soon.

I could really use a well-written tool to help me in my M&M game so I'm looking forward to seeing what Lone Wolf develops.

Any news from them on the data sets would be greatly appreciated.

Now that the campaign stuff is finally out, our two top priorities for Hero Lab are the M&M files and the Authoring Kit. Colen just finished up the visuals overhaul, as you've now seen. I think it's pretty sweet looking, and it's a significant improvement over the previous visuals (they weren't bad, but the new stuff rocks!). He's now working on the missing pieces of the M&M mechanics, while I'm focusing on the Kit stuff. So it shouldn't be too much longer now.

Thanks for your continued patience. It's been quite frustrating for us as well in dealing with all the delays and setbacks, but we'd rather wait to release something of quality than just get something out the door. Hopefully, you guys will find the M&M files worth the wait. :-)
