A bit of a head scratcher, and I really hope I didn't miss an obvious answer.
When I add a hero lab portfolio from one of my PCs to a realm works individual, I link their portfolio and have the option to "click to integrate into running program" ..... what is this supposed to do? Because it doesn't seem to do anything. |

If you have hero lab running and you "click to integrate into running program" on any portfolio you have also entered say for example the monsters for an encounter it will import them into the open portfolio. In this way you run HL. open the portfolio for the PC's then import the encounter with one click.

Ahhh ok, that makes sense. I'll add a feature request then, if there isn't one already to do what I thought it was supposed to do - fill in all the blanks from the portfolio into the Realm Works character entry, or copy the Realm Works info over to the relevant tabs in the portfolio.

So, load a portfolio with 3 goblins into RW Open HL, open your party's portfolio. Integrate. This lets you use the combat tracker and to easily transfer items from npc to hero, as well as having nice cheat sheet access for your mobs. If you load a portfolio into RW, and then load that into HL, it doesn't seem to do anything, because the characters (npcs) are already there, so it doesn't do anything (or maybe it overwrites?). You have to have portfolio A in HL open, and integrate portfolio B to see what it's doing. It's honestly one of THE best features in RW. |
