Subject: Virus targetted at AB users!

I don't normally post virus alerts since any informed user is better
off consulting anti-virus websites but I received an email today that
is so blatantly targetted to AB users or Warhammer 40K players that I
had to post something. Sorry if this bothers you.

I received an email titled "Dark Faith: Guild Introduction". Here's
the text of the email:

Hey guys,

Some of you have received this email before, however,
I've added some new information to it. This is
basically the introduction letter that everyone gets
when they join Dark Faith from myself and the other
Officers. Sorry to be informal, but a lot of you were
asking for this information. =) So, welcome to the

The email had an attachment called "deppendarkeldar.rst.pif" which
was actually the W32.Bugbear@mm virus. Notice the topical file name
and the rst portion of the extension that could confuse someone into
thinking it's a roster file(or something else of interest) for the
dark eldar. The sending and return address is oddgit@t-online.de but
I know it's so easy to spoof someone's addy that I wouldn't assume
guilt.

Anyway, please be wary and sorry to take up your bandwidth with this.

Subject: HELP, HOW TO SOLVE THIS ERROR MESSAGE??

Hi,
I'm a new user trying out army builder. I downloaded Warhammer
fantasy data file provided by wolflaid. Initially I got problem to
import the file with error message something like: "Total width of
stat column exceed available space. Please try to reduce column width
or option width." But I don't know how to do it!!? Even usermanual
never tell me how to do it...
However, I managed to imported the datafile successfully after I
change my window setting from 800*600 to 1024*768... which I think
just because the window can fit into the view now. But again, when I
tried to bring out the magic item list by clicking the "start" icon,
the same error message pop up again and the program was forced to
terminate.
I don't think it is common to have a monitor setting of more than
1024*768 just to accomodate this program's column size right?? Can
anyone tell me how can I reduce the stat column size or how to solve
this problem?
Many thanks for your attention and help.

My monitor is currently set at 1280 x 1024.

I would say that 800x600 is for really small screens as even the new laptops
can handle 1024x768 easily.

HOWEVER, the system requirements for AB read:

"SVGA video display (minimum 800x600 resolution with 8-bit color)"
So I think any data file should support it...
