I don't normally post virus alerts since any informed user is better
off consulting anti-virus websites but I received an email today that
is so blatantly targetted to AB users or Warhammer 40K players that I
had to post something. Sorry if this bothers you.
I received an email titled "Dark Faith: Guild Introduction". Here's
the text of the email:

Hey guys,
Some of you have received this email before, however,
I've added some new information to it. This is
basically the introduction letter that everyone gets
when they join Dark Faith from myself and the other
Officers. Sorry to be informal, but a lot of you were

The email had an attachment called "deppendarkeldar.rst.pif" which
was actually the W32.Bugbear@mm virus. Notice the topical file name
and the rst portion of the extension that could confuse someone into
thinking it's a roster file(or something else of interest) for the
dark eldar. The sending and return address is oddgit@t-online.de but
I know it's so easy to spoof someone's addy that I wouldn't assume
guilt.
Anyway, please be wary and sorry to take up your bandwidth with this.
