Recently Card Vault has been returning a "Web site returned an error." message when I try to grab card images for /all/ Warcraft sets (not just the latest set which may not have been updated yet).

Any ideas?

We found that there is now a conflict with the card image from two different sets and we needed to re-organize the way we stored the images. An update to the data files will be available this week.

Well, since there doesn't seem to be a working answer to this, allow me to post a quick and dirty way to do so:

Choose Settings | Image URLs | Set Alternate Image URL...

In the dialog box, paste in the following URL:

http://www.wowtcgdb.com/images/medium/

NOTE: Make sure to include the trailing slash, and hit Ok.

Choose Settings | Image URLs | Use Alternate Image URL.

Should work for you.

The latest release of WOW data files is now available. The 1.5 release has all cards up through the Hunt for Illidan release. You should be able to get it from the CardVault Update, or from http://www.datafilesrus.com

This release has a new path for obtaining card images as out site has been changed.

Sorry for the delay.

Scott Stewart.

Scott,

Thank you for your work on the WoW TCG database. I did find a bug, however. Any cards that contain a quote mark in the name of the card do not work on the image retrieval. For example:

"The Painsaw" has a URL for the card image of:
http://www.lwgraphix.com/wowtcg/hfi/...ainsawquot.jpg

However, on the website, the url seems to be:
http://www.lwgraphix.com/wowtcg/hfi/the_painsaw.jpg

I wish there was a quick way to update it, but it seems to require a new version of the .cv file to fix it.

Thank you, again,

Taralas
