Tactical Console and Death

Back again with a maybe stupid question: Why is a character who had been killed during combat still active in the "Tactical Console" for the rest of the time?
An image for dead characters would be a cool thing to keep track on the conditions of (N)PCs (at least if there's a great number of combatants).

My mistake. I just missed the button "Click here to remove this character from the combat" / "Click to insert this character into the combat". My fault, sorry.
