I have just released a new version of the Mac Hero Lab, version 8.9f. This version fixes the update issues and crashing problems with 5e.

Awesomesauce. Went back and checked the same character/choices that were causing CTDs and all seems to be working now. Also took care of the "update still available" behavior in one go. Thanks! Much appreciated.

Hero Lab STILL crashes on MacBook Pro with mac OS Catalina...

Really frustrating as now I am paranoid and must save every few minutes, however, sometimes I forget and lose my work...
