Has anyone built anything for L5R. I am thinking about trying it. Looking for advice.

Sorry i didnt reply sooner. I worked on it a little but decided to hold off on running a third campaign. Instead i am going to end my Pathfinder Campaign and start a D&D 5e campaign. One of my closest friends is running an L5R campaign so i may revisit my work.

Hi there Aremis, I'm working on L5R as well (mainly to learn the authoring kit). So far I've gotten traits, rings and skill purchases done (although I haven't added all of the skills yet). So I might be able to help out if you'd need it, not sure how much progress you've made.

There are a lot of threads by SAbel where he has asked questions regarding how to solve specific things, such as the trait purchases and gotten answers from Lone Wolf employees. So those threads are gold mines of information.
Also, the Savage World tutorial on the wiki is really useful, but not everything is relevant to L5R. But it will help you solve some stuff like skill purchases and the like. If you get stuck on a specific area, feel free to PM me and I'll see if I have that part done and can show how I/we solved it. |
