I'm going to start this thread, and hopefully it will get Stickied.
All the different campaign settings are the intellectual properties of individual companies, and even individual people. For Wolf Lair to publish authentic files for all the settings, they would need to set up a licensing agreement with all the different publishers, and authors. Prolly not going to happen. That said, there are several user-created files out there for your enjoyment. Attached is a list of several different user files. Check with the author to see about getting a copy. Please include your email with the first correspondence. We are not psychic. I'm hoping to have the first version of the Left 4 Dead user file ready within a couple of weeks. I'm running an adventure this weekend using them and will be using it to test/tweak the Infected stats. I'll also be including the adventure along with the user file so that you can hit the ground running.

Since the latest update so Savage Worlds, I have a version of the Deadlands file that works with the new version (and properly handles the Grit adjustment to Guts). I also have a Setting Adjustment file that enables Guts for Deadlands.

Is there a way that we could get a link to the USER files in this thread?

as the user files are held by the individual creators, and as Wolf's Lair does not have legal agreements with all the publishers that there are user files for, posting direct links to the files would be a violation of international copyright laws, from my understanding. As long as the files are shared amongst fans , and not shared through Wolf's Lair, there is no issue.
If someone from Wolf's Lair speaks up and says it is OK to upload the files somewhere and post links here, I will do so. Until that time, just email the person who created the file, so we don't get our friends at WL in trouble. |

We're working to solve this right now - contacting publishers, securing permission, etc. We should hopefully have the beginnings of this in place over the next few weeks, after which we'll continue to evolve things.
Thanks for everyone's patience! |

If anyone is interested, I'd be willing to share the file I've made up using Weird Wars and Tour of Darkness. While it's not 100% complete (still have to do some equipment, weapons & vehicle updates) I've been using it to generate characters for the Savaged Twilight 2000 campaign I've been running.
