Hi!
I'm loving Hero Lab

So, I've explored a bit, and curious about making a new game system.
Goal: To start with, create a simple database for something that doesn't exist yet that I can use in RW.

With only the 5ed SRD purchased so far
I created a new game after enabling data file debugging.
It has an existing structure and, it runs in demo mode.

But I haven't discovered how to neither edit existing tabs and fields, nor create and edit New tabs and fields

I'm still exploring, but thinking I've missed something, particularly, I don't have the "Launch Editor" under TOOLS in my menu as described in the manual

So the newby questions of the day are,
How do I enter my interface edit mode?
How do I start with a clean slate so I can learn to add and edit my own data fields?

Thanks

For trying to create a new system you might want to hit up the Authoring Kit forum.

You can create new tabs in 5e using a configurable but that opens a tab for other things to be selected, not entirely new mechanics necessarily.

Ok I will check that out.
I'm not ambitious enough to wire together all the mechanics for an automated sheet, I just need something to make a statblock for a certain type of vehicle's database.
I can do statblocks as word or excel, just wanting to learn HL's methods, to a degree

Thanks
