Mathias,
Consider this suggestion on the long term list. These are no immediate problems. This is all related to one issue.. seeing what the DC to spell saves is going to be at a glance. 1.) When you select the option to make Feats and Abilities listed, and the Wizard has chosen Spell Focus and Greater Spell Focus, it lists them both seperately. Since you can't choose Greater Spell Focus without first taking regular Spell Focus (in the same school).. might it be clearer just to list Greater Spell Focus once with a +2 to the DC? And if the Wizard was crazy enough to take Spell Focus and Greater Spell Focus twice for two different schools.. Just have an entry with the modified DC for each School just one time. I've attached an image to demonstrate what I mean.. it shows the output as it stands now. I imagining just having Greater Spell Focus: Conjuration +2 listed instead of two line items for each feat. Then again, if you're listing for each individual Feat I might see why you do it that way. 2.) On the Special Sheet, would it be possible to add the DC for each spell.. so at a glance a player can call out to the GM what the DC should be.. and have it tie in with Spell Focus and Greater Spell Focus. If you could do this, then suggestion #1 might not be necessary. If this is too complicated, I'll understand. Also, again, low priority. This is not actually a bug. Calculating DCs for spellcasting classes has been an idea for the d20 files for a while, just haven't had time to implement it.
Check out the way great cleave modifies cleave - that's something that was only added to HL a couple of months ago, and I'm only starting to incorporate it into the Pathfinder files (and I'll eventually add it to the d20 files as well). Last edited by Mathias; September 6th, 2009 at 05:48 PM. |
