Two questions: 1) What happened to the Target numbers in inventory?
2)For Magic, I'd like to be able to run up a list of all cards I own that are legal for a Standard Tournament. This would be any cards that are in Onslaught, Legions, Scourge, 8th Edition and (shortly) Mirrodin. However, any card from an earlier set that has been reprinted in one of these sets is also legal. How do I include all those older versions of cards like Fallen Angel or Underworld Dreams? Regina "Not all who wander are lost." --J.R.R. Well, we've established emailing him isn't going to work...
I think I remember him posting about that he was working/planning on this a while back, though I'm not sure if it's in the datafiles or not yet. --Kyle Turner emperor799@bellsouth.net "Despite the high cost of living, it remains a popular item." - unknown ----- Original Message ----- From: Jim Williamson To: cardvault@yahoogroups.com Sent: Sunday, October 12, 2003 2:59 PM Subject: Re: [CardVault] The answer to this is probably obvious, but... rcross wrote: > Two questions: 1) What happened to the Target numbers in inventory? > 2)For Magic, I'd like to be able to run up a list of all cards I own that > are legal for a Standard Tournament. >Two questions: 1) What happened to the Target numbers in inventory? Target numbers are still where they last were. And they behave the same way they used to. The only difference is that you can now enable/disable target numbers for individual cards. The setting on the Settings menu now specifies the default behavior unless you specifically change that behavior for a given card. >2)For Magic, I'd like to be able to run up a list of all cards I own that >are legal for a Standard Tournament. This functionality was added in V1.3. All it requires is that you check a new checkbox. :-) Let's look at an example using the new Mirrodin release. Open the Filter form. Define your filter to select all cards from the Mirrodin release. Then check the box marked "Include All Equivalents". Then click OK. Now make sure that you do not have the "Merge Duplicate Cards" setting enabled. The net filter returns all cards from Mirrodin, plus all equivalent cards from all other sets. These are cards that would be normally collapsed when you enable "Merge Duplicate Cards" and select all cards.
