Custom ranger animal companion level

Is there a way, in Herolab, to manually change the level (or give extra levels) to a ranger animal companion (to make it equal to a druid companion). The gm ruled that ranger companions should be on par, but I'm having trouble figuring out how I can make that change in herolab. I do have the community materials from Shadowchemosh.

Will the adjustment "Companion Effective Level" do it?
