Hey Folks!

Back in May I read that Lone Wolf would be dropping DropBox support for Hero Lab at the end of June. I was wondering, what is the current status of DropBox in relation to Hero Lab?

The reason I am asking is on my I-Pad Hero Lab app the DropBox support still seems to be working fine.

Any help or extra info on this would be great.

Thanks.

From another thread:

Our new plan is to maintain our current Dropbox support as long as we can, until the new September deadline (or whenever they actually turn off the API). In addition, we'll be making it easier to import and export from other cloud services in our next iPad release, which should be sometime next week.

Well that certainly clears the DropBox thing up a bit.

So, is it safe to assume the reason no v2 api was pursued was due to the development of Hero Lab Online?

HL online may have had something to do with the decision, but the statement made at the time by LW was more related to the fact that to update to v2 wasn't something easily done. You should be able to find more detail in an earlier forum post.
